ABUAD’s low carbon energy used measure in 2022

ABUAD has developed an Energy and Utilities Sustainability Plan and Energy Conversation Plan outlining the university’s commitment to using 100% renewable energy by the year 2022.  In line with this Plan, the Directorate of Works measures the amount of low carbon energy used across the university. The Clean Energy and Utilities Program of the Directorate implements targeted efforts aimed at measuring current levels of low carbon energy usage at ABUAD, with the aim of ensuring sustained awareness on energy efficiency and conservation.  On the average, the Renewable generation involved in the University’s electric supply is about 100% as at now. The process of full compliant with 100% renewably powered University will be realised in some few years as contained in the Energy and Utilities Sustainability Plan of the University.
