Free Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare Services for Students, Staff and Immediate Community

ABUAD provides high-quality sexual and reproductive health services and resources for all students, staff and immediate community for free

Available resources at the ABUAD Multisystems Hospital (AMSH) include:

Free Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)/Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) Testing

The AMSH offers free Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) screening (gonorrhea, & chlamydia, HIV, & syphilis) to students all through the academic year. Appointments can be made by email or phone. ((cmd@abuad.edu.ng) or phone: +234 (806) – 018 – 6037)

Free Sexual Health Products

The Health Promotion & Well-Being Unit at the AMSH offers free condoms and other sexual health products to enrolled students with family and partners.  Appointments can be made by email or phone to order free condoms and other sexual health products. ( (cmd@abuad.edu.ng) or phone: +234 (806) – 018 – 6037)

The University Health Pharmacy also sells a variety of condoms and sexual health products at low prices. 

Breast Examinations

The AMSH offers free pap smears, breast exams, and mammograms to students, staff and immediate community all through the academic year. Appointments can be made by email (cmd@abuad.edu.ng) or phone: +234 (806) – 018 – 6037

Counselling Unit

The ABUAD Counselling Unit provides health support and psychotherapy services to students to help them make informed choices about their sexual, social and emotional wellbeing. It facilitates sexual healthcare through free counseling sessions, educational programs, campus awareness, and risk prevention strategies.

Campus Security and Safety Resources

ABUAD maintains a zero tolerance policy for all forms of sexual molestation, stalking, relationship violence or sexual assault. The ABUAD Campus Security, as well as the Dean of Student Affairs, maintain a 24 hour hotline service for students and faculty members, which makes them feel very safe to learn in an atmosphere of utmost safety and health.
