Smoke Free Policy

Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) has a vital interest in maintaining a healthy, comfortable and safe environment for its students, faculty, staff, contractors, vendors and visitors. To this end, ABUAD prohibits smoking and the use of all forms of tobacco on all University Property, including hostels and restaurants.  This policy documents ABUAD’s firm commitment to a smoke free campus. The smoke free policy was drafted on the January 10, 2018. This became effective immediately. Two (2) years after (January 10, 2020), the policy was reviewed and approved by the Senate of the University. This became effective and supersedes the January 10, 2018 version. The Policy will always be reviewed every two (2) years.
